Edgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe was a talented poet that has become very popular to the public. One of the famous poems he has written is called "The Raven". "The Raven" was a poem mainly about a man who was frightened by a raven. The description was dark and dreary and started during midnight. The narrator gave vivid descriptions and explained his every move. He was afraid of raven, without actually knowing what it was. It was a Gothic piece of literature because of the setting; it takes place in December in a bleak and remote place. There was a scene in the poem discussing the loss of Lenore, and by understanding that loss is never a good thing, it most probably happened violently. There are many supernatural incidence for example, how the Raven could speak. Edgar Allan Poe's writing is much appreciated even during this century and many century's to come.
