Night by Elie Wiesel was written in the 1960's and is one of my favorite books. Elie Wiesel wrote about his life in the concentration camps, and how him, his family, and other Jewish characters were tortured. I admire Elie Wiesel for having the strength to write this book after losing everything he had. He went through an abundant amount of pain and suffering and was still able to continue his life and speak the truth about his thoughts and actions. Many few people would have that much strength to go on after seeing children being burned in front of there eyes. In his book he discussed how he lost all his faith in God and gave up on life, I understood why because of the position that he was in. I enjoyed reading this book because it was written by a real person, talking about his real life and how he changed. While reading this book I put myself in his position and knew that I could not go through a day without my family and my friends, and I thank God for having such a safe easy going life.
