"Speech in the Virginia Convention"

Patrick Henry wrote "Speech in the Virginia Convention" in 1775. He is the speaker who introduces the idea of freedom to the people. Patrick Henry presented his speech to the members of the convention. He uses rhetorical devices in his speech which grasped the attention of the audience. Patrick Henry spoke in a patriotic tone which was appropriate for the listeners. He was also encouraging, due to the fact that he needed to persuade the people to fight for freedom.
Patrick Henry's speech was very persuasive. It is a fact because it was his words that convinced people to go against King George. He knew he was right, and used actual information to explain to the audience why they have to fight. His most famous words were "Give me liberty, or give me death", he gave the audience one choice, and that was to fight for freedom even if it means dieing.
