"My Dear and Loving Husband"

       One of the short poems that we have read and discussed in class was "My Dear and Loving Husband". Anne Bradstreet was the speaker of the poem that wrote a poem to her husband. It was written during the puritan times to explain her love toward her husband. She was very emotional while writing the poem because she discussed her feelings. In my opinion this was not an appropriate piece of literature, because it gave false information considering that during the puritan life, they were very dull and strict. Although it was a very descriptive poem it is not something I would recomend to anyone to read.
