"Obama Challenges Congress on Job Plan"

"Obama Challenges Congress on Job Plan" was written by Mark Lander, and was published Wednesday September 8, 2011, found in New York Times newspaper. Obama introduces his speech by bringing up the crucial issues that discuss about the economic crises that has left an abundant amount of Americans jobless, and a political crises also. He talks about how people do not care about politics and try there best to find jobs for there family. It is an ongoing political crises and they should do something to help the colony, the question is if they can restore everything. He is sending congress a Plan called the American Jobs Act,to improve peoples lives. It is supported by both democrats and republicans, and everything in this bill will be payed for. The purpose is to put people back to work, and to make sure they have money. His plan also includes the rebuilding and reconstructing of schools, to repair and modernize schools, and give jobs to those who need it.
In my opinion this act should be passed by Congress. It is meant for the benefit of all Americans to make sure they can live easier then they are now. Obviously, Americas economic system is in a terrible condition, and with this act it can slowly be resolved. Most Americans are not jobless by choice, but because of force, if this bill passes, will have more latter out of poverty. Congress should pass this bill, to help not only the economic system, but to all Americans who are suffering.

  1. Hello Anita! This is a great blog post and i have a lot to say about it. I really do not agree with Obama and his new bill. First of all, how is he going to get the money for it when obviously our country is in a thirteen trillion dollar debt! American will suffer with or without this bill so there is no legitimate reason as to why they should pass this bill. Anyway, nice post Anita, keep up the great work!

Btw: Remember to underline the name of the newspaper next time!

  3. I think Obama is trying to help the citizens of the U.S., although it can be very challenging. It is a good start for him, but I also do not think this bill will make a big difference in helping people apply to jobs. Overall your post is very informative and understandable.

  4. Hey Anita, I agree with the article you have chosen and I find it hopeful that President Obama is trying his best to help America. Your blog post was written very clearly and it helped me understand the actual details about this particular bill. It's obvious that Obama is worried about the situations most Americans are now facing and also about our economy. I think that this bill is better than nothing.
